What does "7 zhe" mean?
A Chinese discount convention: N zhe means paying N/10 of the price. 7 zhe = pay 70% = 30% off. The tool shows both conventions side by side.
How do stacked discounts work?
They multiply, not add: 20% off followed by another 10% off is pay 80% × 90% = 72% of list — a 28% total discount, not 30%.
What is "buy one get one half off" equivalent to?
Two same-priced items for 1.5× the single price means 75% of list per item — a 25% effective discount, weaker than a flat 30% off.
