What happens to non-Latin titles?

Hyphens or underscores?
Google recommends hyphens: a hyphen is treated as a word separator while an underscore joins words together. Prefer - for SEO.
Why cut at a word boundary?
A raw character cut can split a word (hello-wond). The tool truncates at the limit, then backs off to the previous separator so every word stays whole.
