    Frequently asked questions

    Which photo sizes are included?

One-inch, two-inch and passport presets are built in, with sheet options to control margins and copies per page.

Does it crop or check compliance?

It lays out the photo at the chosen size — official requirements like background color or head height depend on your source photo and local rules.

How many photos fit on one A4 sheet?

It depends on size, margin and gap: at default settings a 1-inch sheet holds around forty copies and a 2-inch sheet around twenty. The grid preview shows the exact rows, columns and total as you tune the values.

Will the printed size be accurate?

Yes — output pixels equal mm × DPI ÷ 25.4, so printing at the chosen DPI gives the true physical size. Just select "actual size / 100%" in the print dialog, not "fit to page".

    Is Id Photo Layout free?

Id Photo Layout is completely free — open the page and use every feature with no hidden charges.
