Frequently asked questions
What do the fullness ratios mean?
The style sets how much fabric width is gathered into the finished curtain — a flat modern heading uses about 1.2× the track width, while fuller pleat styles use larger ratios, so the same window needs more fabric.
Why does bolt width matter?
Fabric comes in fixed widths (1.4 m to 3.2 m here). A 2.8–3.2 m bolt can cover a standard drop sideways with no seams; narrower bolts need multiple sewn panels per window.
Is the cost the final retail price?
No — it multiplies fabric metres by your unit price and adds lining/sheer estimates. Making charges, tracks, hooks and installation are not included, so treat it as a materials budget.
